Lightspeed is an iPad-based Point of Sale and business management system for restaurants, independent hotels and small chains. The solution is innovative, modular and easy to use. It breaks the barriers imposed by legacy POS solutions by leveraging readily available tablet devices. Lightspeed updates seamlessly and your data is automatically backed up in their secure data center and installs a lite server in your venue to make sure you can still operate if internet breaks down.

With Lightspeed, you can set your floor plans, take orders by the guests table, send them to the kitchen staff and check the status of open-orders in real time.Once the customer has paid for their order, you can easily close the table with one tap. Alternatively, there are options for partial payments, bill splits and more. On top of that, Lightspeed offers advanced features like self-ordering tills and track keeping of staff clock-in and clock-out times. As a manager you also have access to all relevant performance metrics.

Lightspeed integrates with 3rd party systems to make sure the data is synchronised across all relevant systems of your hotel. As an example, the amount can be charged to the customer’s room account with the PMS integration, instead of upfront payment or manual entries. It also integrates with accounting software for seamless reporting.
